Artist: LOS NIVRAM
Title: LOS NIVRAM
Label: Electro Harmonix
Format: 10”
Quintessence of the best Nuggets-type of music from Europe, the scant discography of the Catalan band Los Nivram – just two obscure EPs from 1965 and 1966, eight tremendous tracks – represents one of the best examples of the excellent level that Spanish garage sound acquired during the golden years of the genre.

Title: THE FOUR WINDS AND DITO
Label: Electro Harmonix
Format: 10”
The Four Winds And Dito are one of the most obscure and unfairly least celebrated bands of the golden age of Spanish garage. Hailing from Majorca, their only two EPs from 1964 and 1966 featured fantastic English and Spanish covers of The Mojos, The Byrds, Little Richard, The Hollies, The Kinks… plus a classic Spanish nugget, the self-written ‘No me dejas vivir en paz’.

3. YOU’RE NO GOOD
4. GIVE YOUR LOVIN’ TO ME

Artist: LOS MONAGUILLOSH
Title: VOCES EN LA JUNGLA
Label: Munster
Format: 7”
Reissue of the first single by Los Monaguillosh from 1983. One of the classic records of Spanish post-punk, with only two releases the band achieved a captivating sound akin to The Cure and Siouxsie And The Banshees.

Artist: SCHITZOPHONICS
Title: CAN’T TAKE IT
Label: Munster

Fuzz rock makes you dance! And there’s no better example than the new single by San Diego’s Schitzophonics, who have recently been touring as El Vez’s band.

Artist: SILVER CHALICE
Title: WASTED
Label: Munster
Format: 7”
Reissue of this heavy-sounding glitter punk 45 from 1979 by the short-lived Silver Chalice. Frontman Kim Komet described it as “Dead-Crude Rock” and he was backed by a band that included Geza X, Terry Churchman, Paul Faris, Pat Delaney and Dutch Shultz among others. Sounding mightier than ever after being remastered by original producer Geza X.
